Iceland – The Black Beach at Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon
In the evening, we returned to the black beach at Jökulsárlón glacier lagoon – a place, wild and fascinating, though the recent stormy days had pushed fewer ice chunks from the lake into the sea, so the beach wasn’t as rich in motifs as usual, a contrast between expectation and reality.
Ice and Funny Mishaps
A few beautiful chunks remained, and it was amusing again how some photographers underestimated the waves – one by one they were knocked over by the surf, camera gear soaked in saltwater, a dance between nature and mishap, raw and humorous.
An Evening Full of Impressions
This visit gifted us moments between beauty and laughter, an experience swinging between silence and surprise, deeply rooted in the heart.
