At the end of March the two of us flew to Marrakesh, over the snow-covered Alps and the Atlas Mountains. Two days in the medina with everything that goes with it, persistent vendors included, then by hire car over the High Atlas into the Sahara. A night in the dunes under a sky full of stars, and in the morning sunrise and the ride back to Merzouga on dromedaries.
