The stop at Jökulsárlón glacier lagoon is a classic in Iceland, yet it’s becoming increasingly tricky to photograph or write something new here – a place, wild and familiar. After the stormy days before our arrival, fewer ice floes were drifting at the lake’s outlet than in recent years, a contrast between expectation and change.
