Iceland – Basalt Cliffs at the Black Beach of Dyrhólaey
After the peninsula, we drove briefly down to the black beach between Vík and the Dyrhólaey peninsula – a well-known spot, whose images have appeared many times on this blog, wild and familiar. The few minutes turned into pure snowstorm chaos, a contrast between adversity and fascination, rough and relentless.

Especially the basalt cliffs on the beach offered beautiful motifs despite the weather – a dance between sharp edges and swirling snow, delicate and powerful, touching the soul.
