Aerial Views of Antigua (Guatemala) – Volcano and Colonial Charm
Our trip to Guatemala was almost a year ago now, an unforgettable summer 2024 when we celebrated a close friend’s wedding in the beautiful colonial town of Antigua. For five days, we immersed ourselves, strolling colorful streets and enjoying the time – wild yet warm, a heartbeat in memory.
Morning Over the Rooftops
Before breakfast, I took the drone up high, and Antigua unfolded – a town embraced by impressive volcanoes. The aerial shots captured the colors of the roofs, a contrast between life and stillness, raw and delicate at once.
Volcano Fuego – Dancing Fire
Volcano Fuego, long active, stole the show – every few minutes, a mighty ash cloud rose, while deep below in town, the rumble filled the air. From above, it looked like a dialogue between power and peace, a sight that touches the soul.
