Aerial Views of Denmark’s Beaches – A Dance with Wind and Waves
Last summer, our big two-month trip to Northern Europe began – Denmark’s borders reopened just in time after Corona, and so we headed for the west coast for the first time. Two weeks full of cool landscapes, good food, and friendly people, but with 10–15 degrees in July, we pulled out our winter jackets earlier than expected – a contrast between summer dreams and chilly reality.
Beaches and Camper Adventures
We walked for miles along empty North Sea beaches, where the vastness embraced us. With our camper, we often rolled right onto the sand—a feeling of freedom, rough yet safe. The drone accompanied us, but stormy days often kept it grounded—a play of longing and resistance.
The Last Flight
Right on departure day in Denmark, the Mavic gave up—a mainboard failure only covered by warranty back in Germany. Its last aerial shot, here on the blog, was its farewell image: a black screen, an empty battery, fighting the wind, barely landed. Wild, delicate, unforgettable.
