The Soca Valley in Slovenia – Turquoise Waters and Peaks in Flight
This summer, we spent a week in the Soca Valley, close to the borders of Austria and Italy – a place where the turquoise Soca River flows with icy-cold water alongside hiking trails, wild yet inviting. Our campsite became a home, despite the lively buzz filling the air.
A Dance Through Switchbacks and Mountains
The drive over the Vršič Pass with its paved switchbacks was an adventure – stunning views of massive mountains brushing the sky, a contrast between curves and vastness that made the heart race. From above, we conquered this grandeur – raw and majestic.
Aerial Shots of a Paradise
The aerial photos capture the pulse of the Soca Valley – the turquoise river shimmering against steep slopes, a play of cold and color. We will return, that’s for sure – this place, delicate and powerful, has captured us completely.
