Antigua lies in the highlands of Guatemala, and from above its colonial buildings and cobbled streets trace an orderly grid. Colourful houses, old churches and lively squares lie beneath you.

The volcanoes around the town

What immediately catches the eye are the volcanoes around Antigua, above all the Agua volcano rising in the background. From above, its green flanks stand right next to the red roofs and pastel façades of the town.

The Parque Central

In the aerial photos the Parque Central lies in the middle, framed by historic buildings such as the Palacio de los Capitanes Generales and Antigua’s cathedral. The order of the town radiates calm, and yet in the details you can see life in the streets.

A colonial town full of life
