Ice Blocks on the Black Beach of Jökulsárlón
After our ice cave tour, we made a quick stop at the black beach by the Jökulsárlón glacier lagoon – a detour, wild and enticing. I had long planned to shoot long exposures of the ice blocks, and this time it paid off, as fresh, more beautiful ice chunks had washed ashore overnight – a contrast between stillness and change.
A Moment of Photography
The newly arrived ice blocks created a fascinating subject, both raw and delicate – a spectacle of nature captured through the lens, enriching the day.
