Iceland – Abandoned DC-3 Plane Wreck on the South Coast

Not much more needs to be said about the plane wreck of an old DC-3 aircraft, as I’ve visited this surreal location several times before. Still, we managed again to take the wrong turn off the Ring Road, even though this time there was even a small sign pointing the way. The wide tire tracks also show clearly that this spot has long since stopped being a secret tip.
