One night we witnessed beautiful northern lights in the sky – a spectacle, wild and overwhelming, with predicted peaks of strength 7! Yet mostly the light stayed far south of Iceland, visible only on the horizon, a contrast between hope and distance, rough and enticing.

A dance of colors

Occasionally it came closer, dancing above our heads and shining in all colors – a moment full of magic, delicate and powerful. At four in the morning we went to bed, memory cards full and some batteries running low, a sign of an intense night’s work.

A silent awe

Once again, speechless… an experience that fascinated and stayed in memory.
