Cozy Autumn Days in Paris
At the beginning of November, we spent a few cozy days in Paris with friends — a stay, wild and relaxed, since we had already seen the typical sights many times and just wanted to stroll through the city’s charming corners, a contrast between familiarity and curiosity. Here and there, we enjoyed a coffee with croissants and discovered new spots and museums that had previously escaped us — raw and inviting.
Discoveries and Views
We started with the park in Versailles — on a Monday, when the palace is closed, it was pleasantly quiet there, a spectacle of calm and vastness. In the following days, we visited the Eiffel Tower and took in the beautiful view from Sacré-Cœur, but a particularly special sunset in Parc des Buttes-Chaumont with a view of Sacré-Cœur offered a refreshing change. On our last evening, we celebrated Luisa’s birthday with Stefanie and Amaury — the couple who jumped into Lake Constance — before, sadly, we had to return to the lake ourselves, a farewell full of warmth, flavor, and longing.
À bientôt Paris!
