Our summer vacation in 2022 took us through southern France and Catalonia, and near Marseille and Montpellier, I was captivated by a special treasure – the salt fields. With the drone in tow, I took to the skies, and from above, a wild yet harmonious play of colors and patterns unfolded.

A Dance of Tones

The salt fields glowed in unexpected shades – from delicate pinks to bright whites, shaped by sun and salt. From the air, the patterns looked like a mosaic, a striking contrast between shine and earth that holds your gaze and fills you with wonder.

An Unexpected Treasure

What started as a spontaneous idea turned into a burst of color that retold the landscape’s story. These shots, raw and gentle at once, carry the soul of southern France – an experience alive in every line.
