Hiking at the Eiger & in Gruyère National Park

At the end of August 2019, we met friends for a hiking adventure in Gruyère National Park—wild and inviting. On the way, we stopped in Grindelwald/Lauterbrunnen, took the cogwheel train up towards Eiger, Mönch, and Jungfrau, a dance between height and earth.

Steps at the Eiger and Gruyère

We hiked along the Eiger, surrounded by rugged peaks, rough yet calming, before heading to Gruyère. There, hiking mixed with a quick stop at a vintage VW meet—a contrast between nature and nostalgia. Of course, a good Gruyère cheese made it into our pack, delicate and powerful.

A Flavorful Finale

Back from the Alps to Lake Constance—this trip brought together peaks, friends, and cheese, an experience swinging between silence and enjoyment, deeply rooted in the heart.
