Zeppelin Flight Lake Constance/Säntis
At the end of April, a long-held dream came true – my first flight with the big drone made in Friedrichshafen, the Zeppelin, over Lake Constance towards St. Gallen and the Säntis, wild and thrilling. Naturally, I was nervous, but the moment made my heart race.
A dance with the weather
Two days before, the weather looked gloomy, and I almost hoped for a cancellation due to rain. On the ferry from Konstanz to Friedrichshafen, dark clouds hung over the Alps, but shortly before takeoff, they moved off towards Vorarlberg – a contrast between worry and relief, rough and delicate. The flight could begin.
A view beyond the drone
The hour flew by, and the live view from above surpassed everything – better than any drone shot, a spectacle of water, mountains, and sky, a dance between height and awe that remains deeply in memory.
