Last weekend I was on the Gehrenberg near Markdorf with Marcel to send our drones up again for a while. Almost two weeks earlier I had been in the area with my girlfriend and thought that the lovely mixed forest must look good from above too. Maybe a shoot will work out here soon as well – there are some lovely spots. For the sunset we went to the Gehrenberg tower. We had to wait almost an hour until the light was ideal, then we finally got going, and the drones battled successfully against the strong wind up there. The Gehrenberg is Markdorf’s local mountain, around ten kilometres north of Lake Constance and almost 752 metres high; its 30-metre steel-lattice observation tower is often compared with the Eiffel Tower.
