On the last day we treated ourselves to a few hours of shopping in Reykjavík – for the first time on our fifth visit to Iceland, which is actually a shame, because there are some really lovely shops. After almost 2,500 kilometres we had driven once round the island, and we were luckier with the weather than expected: during the day the light was mostly wonderful for photography.

In the end there were nine full days with almost 5,000 pictures and 160 GB of data. Every day more than 80 people visited my site, wow! A big thank you to everyone who came along with us on this trip again! We found the nicest little shops around Laugavegur, one of the city’s oldest shopping streets, laid out in 1885.
