Aerial Views of San Miguel de Allende – A Play of Light and Color
The last days of our Mexico trip took us four hours north of Mexico City to San Miguel de Allende – a colorful city proudly carrying its World Heritage status for years. We’d visited the heart of the city before, but this time I was drawn outwards, and from above I discovered a landscape that amazed me – wild yet familiar.
A Morning and Evening Glow
The aerial shots were taken at sunrise, when the first rays kissed the city’s colors, and again after sunset, when Christmas decorations bathed the streets in warm light. These contrasts – the soft morning light against the sparkling evening gold – painted a picture both raw and delicate, a dance between nature and celebration.
An Unexpected Treasure
San Miguel de Allende revealed a new side beyond the narrow streets. The landscape opened up, shaped by hills and hues – a contrast that truly came alive from above. From up here, you can feel the magic of a city that carries history and light within it.
