Aerial Shots Along the Algarve Coast
At the beginning of January, Marcel and I headed to the Algarve and over to Huelva to capture drone footage of the salt fields – an adventure, wild and enticing. Three full days in the region, scouting many locations, and the weather cooperated. Now we also know how to register drone batteries and a power bank with TAP in carry-on luggage – almost a doctoral thesis; next time, it’ll just go in without fuss!
A wealth of textures and colors
This trip yielded so many photos that three posts barely suffice – a dance between variety and selection, rough and fascinating. This post features the “side shots” first: beautiful coastal landscapes and beaches, vast greenhouse areas inland in Spain – Spanish tomatoes are unbeatable! – and a strikingly green saltwater lake.
The surreal green lake
At the green lake, the colors and salt crystal structures were so intense that I had to reduce contrast and colors during editing – a contrast between nature and dream, delicate and overwhelming. This view, captured from above, remains a highlight, deeply rooted in the heart.
