Iceland – Snowstorm between Fludir and the Highlands

During the next night, we were surprised by a good 30 cm of snow in front of our hotel – a sight, wild and enchanting, yet our plan to take a detour toward the Highlands became more critical, a contrast between beauty and challenge. Still, we set off, eager to see how far we could get.
