Our next destination after the Eastfjords was the geothermal area near Mývatn and the famous Goðafoss waterfall – a new chapter, wild and fascinating. The smell of sulfur still lingered in our noses, but the low sun bathed the steaming crater landscape in beautiful light – a contrast between scent and beauty.
