Hike to Seealpsee

About a week ago, we were back in the Säntis region to hike from Ebenalp to the Wildkirchli and the famous Aescher restaurant — an outing, wild and adventurous, that reminded me of our visit the year before, when the weather also didn’t show its best side — a contrast between expectation and nature. After a hearty, delicious lunch at the Aescher, we continued on in the rain toward Seealpsee.

A Clear Moment

Just before reaching the lake, the rain stopped and Säntis appeared for the first time through the clouds — a spectacle of clarity and relief. Here are a few photos from our hike that capture that moment.
